UNIFORM
We believe that our distinctive uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of School and setting an appropriate tone. It helps to encourage in our students, a sense of community spirit, personal pride and a common purpose, while also reinforcing positive behaviour.
All students are expected to observe the School’s dress code at all times and to wear their uniform with pride. We actively encourage parents to reinforce standards of dress and to ensure that students’ uniform is consistent with School policy.
Boys
- Black blazer with School badge
- Plain white cotton shirt (please ensure a comfortable fit around the neck)
- Plain loose-fit black trousers. Tight fitting or skinny styles are not allowed
- Plain black leather belt (small buckle and with no adornments, studs etc.)
- Plain black socks (standard socks that cover ankles)
- Plain polished black leather shoes without adornment, logos etc. (not trainers or trainer look-alikes)
- Plain black V-neck sweater or cardigan (optional)
- Appropriate school tie
- In addition, boys may wear a watch only.
Girls
- Black blazer with School badge
- Plain white cotton shirt with top button fastening (please ensure a comfortable fit around the neck)
- Plain black trousers (loose fitting) OR black knee-length skirt (obtainable from the School supplier only)
- Plain black socks (must cover ankles and fit below the knee)
- Plain polished black leather shoes without adornment, logos etc (not trainers or trainer look-alikes)
- Plain black V-neck sweater or cardigan (optional)
- Appropriate school tie
- In addition, girls may wear a watch and one pair of small gold or silver studded earrings only.
Primary Boys PE Kits
- Plain light blue shirt with the School badge
- Plain navy-blue trousers – loose fitting (‘skinny’ styles are not allowed)
- Plain black leather belt (small buckle and with no adornments, studs etc.)
- Navy-blue socks
- Plain black leather shoes (not trainers or trainer look-alikes, loafers, pumps etc.)
- Plain navy blue V-neck sweater (optional)
- Wristwatch with leather or rubber strap (optional)
- Short hair, cut above the collar (‘Afro’ or ‘exotic’ styles are not allowed – if it can be ‘pinched’, it is too long
Primary Girls PE Kits
- Light blue shirt with School badge
- Plain navy-blue trousers or official school skirt
- Navy-blue socks
- Plain black leather shoes with straps (not trainers or trainer look-alikes, loafers, pumps etc.)
- Low-cut or plaited hair only‘packed’ tightly to the back.Hair attachments or hair weaves are not allowed.
- Navy-blue, light blue and white beads or hair accessories (optional)
- Navy-blue sweater (optional)
- One of pair of small studded earrings (no loops, and no neck or wrist chains/bracelets)
- Wristwatch with leather or rubber strap (optional)
Secondary PE Kits
- Only the School PE shorts may be worn
- Polo shirts in House colour must be worn for PE and all co-curricular activities
- Trainers with white sports socks must be worn.
