Avi-Cenna International School

Paul Olubajo

Avi-Cenna International School
Principal  since 2021

Paul joined Avi-Cenna International School in September 2000. He is a seasoned professional with over 25 years in teaching and administration providing the vision and leadership required to ensure a high quality of education for pupils. He is a self-motivated and detailed minded educator with analytical skills acquired from a background in research.

He has taught English and Literature at Key Stages 3 and 4. He also has experience in preparing students for the SAT and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

His evolution from being a classroom teacher to a Head of School was something that did not just happen; he was well prepared for the transition. He began his post-undergraduate journey as a teacher, was elevated to a Key Stage Coordinator, further elevated to Head of Sixth Form and finally to Head of Secondary before his most recent appointment as Vice Principal.

Paul enjoys working with teenagers and bringing out the best in them. What further thrills me is looking back to see how I have impacted them and where they are today. He is also committed to team performance.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading; classics and non-fiction, travelling and conducting research. He also has a Diploma in advertising (APCON).
